Positive test for HIV, HBV or HCV

In Norway, you have to wait 12 months before you can donate if you

• are a man, who has had sex with another man
• have received money or drugs for sex
• have a partner who has used non-prescribed drugs

6 months deferral is applied if you

• are a woman, who has had sex with a man who has sex with other men
• have had sex with a new partner
• have had sex with a partner who has injected non-prescribed drugs
